A trug full of flavour

Its been hard work making a garden from scratch this year, so its great to be finally getting produce out.

Particular favourites have been the early potatoes ‘Mona Lisa’, cooking in 6 minutes and excellent hot or cold.

The garlic has been producing ‘scapes’ which we have been adding to various dishes to give a garlicky undertone. They will be ready for lifting in two to three weeks.

Lots of other stuff is doing well and the climbing french beans and courgettes are looking very promising for a few weeks time.
