Wild garlic

The far rear of the garden is quite shady as it is the nearest to the conifer stand across the road, and the left side even more so as it backs onto the adjacent forest.

We are trying to give this area a bit of a woodland feel and have already planted some bluebells near to our coppiced hazel and the new mixed woodland hedge ( haie )

Yesterday we planted up a new area with geraniums and wild garlic slips. The geraniums will cover the ground after the wild garlic has died back in late spring summer.
