Always good to start planning this years crops. I’m thinking of trying some fennel this year as well as planting a fig tree up against the garden shed, as it has a nice sunny stone wall.
We are still eating our main crop “Desiree” potatoes so will probably go with those again as they cropped and stored very well.
All the beans did well so those will feature, and I will try some borlotti type as the ones we had from the local organic smallholding were very tasty.
First job though is to order the early potatoes, “Mona Lisa” as last year, easy to grow and a good cropper.
